The modern artist @theakling

At the age of twelve, Thea became a protégé of Jonny Andvik, a former student of Odd Nerdrum and one of Scandinavia's most prominent painters.

Thea has also designed and produced her own Chill Wear brand, MOIST, and has engaged in numerous collaborations with other brands. She is known for redesigning second-hand clothing with her unique artistic touch.

Her experiences with urban culture and street art have shaped her visually powerful and vibrant painting style. She creates an expression that is unprecedented, much like Warhol did with pop art. By blending classical disciplines with a contemporary twist through modern symbolism, colors, and forms, she has developed a style she calls "contemporary romanticism."

A Colorful Eye for History and Design

Thea has appeared on the NRK programs "Hvem Bor Her" and "Portrettmesterskapet." Her colorful home has been featured in several interior design magazines. She has a deep interest and understanding of how historical influences shape current trends and how human psychological nature perceives beauty and aesthetics.
